Australian School Science Week ‘Hearts’ 25mm Button Badges

We were delighted the other week when a previous customer of ours got in touch to make a repeat 25mm button badge order, along with the order she also attached this photo from her schools August Science week.

Miss Shaw who teaches pupils in Melbourne, Australia went on to explain that the last set of badges were a big success. “Five students per senior school class were awarded a ‘I heart Science’ badge for academic excellence, asking great questions, helping others, doing their homework exceptionally“.

She went on to say “Students were sooooooo excited and loved the badges so much that the school had to put the ebay link on the school bulletin so students could go and buy their own.  Students were even trying to buy them off each other!!”

We would like to thank Miss Shaw for getting in touch and going to the trouble of keeping us updated, its always nice to know that people are enjoying our products and is extra cool when this comes from the other side of the world. :)

Busy weekend in the Badge Beast Office

We’ve had a ridiculously busy weekend at badgebeast.co.uk, thanks to everybody who has placed orders and we hope you will be coming back again soon to order more Button Badges and Keyrings.

Some of the most popular items this weekend have been our Heart Shaped Keyrings, we currently have the ‘i love’ range and the ‘flags of the world’ range which seem to be very popular with you guys. We are planning on adding many more over the coming months so keep checking back :)

On top of this we are starting to roll out our new range of Mouse Mats on the site which we hope you will like. They are flexible plastic and look brilliant on any desk, as well as this they are wipe clean and because they are only a couple of millimeters thick they feel much more comfortable than the tradition rubber ones.

The Mouse Mats will eventually be made availiable with all the great designs we currently have on the site as well as some new interesting designs based around office humour, there well worth a look if your thinking of what to buy the geeky guys in the office at your place of work.

We now sell 55mm Button Badges.. Bigger can be better!

Hello, as well as the popular and traditional 25mm Button Badges, we now sell our wicked cool designs as 55mm Button Badges. This increase in size can really help to make an even bolder statement and is obviously much easier to see from a distance.

We currently have all the ‘I Heart’ badges added to our store in the 55mm Pin Badge size, and are adding the rest of our range to that line up on a daily basis. We will keep everybody updated through the blog as to when everything is added and up to date and of course you can keep checking by clicking from the left hand menu in the main button badge online shop.

Some other new items on their way include our new Round Make-Up Mirrors and some fun new Mousemats, so it wont only be your awesome t-shirts and clothing that you can beast up but soon your office!

New Range of Zombie Designs

We have just added a number of cool zombie badges to our site, back off watching the first series of The Walking  Dead i thought it was about time we had some badges for all you zombie hunters and zombie lovers to proudly wear.

Of course as with all our designs on badgebeast they are not only availiable as a button badge but will shortly be availiable on our keyrings, compact mirrors, tea coasters, bottle openers as well as many more products.

Also we are currently in the process of adding new sizes of button badges to give even more choice to our customers, as well as our current 25mm button badges our badges will soon be avialiable in the larger 55mm Button Badge size and the huge 77mm Button Badge Size. Site updates | Improved deisgn | Server Upgrade | And easier to use

We love selling button badges and keyrings and thought it was about time we improved our website, so hopefully you guys out there will find the site much easier to use and enjoy coming back time and time again..

These changes were actually brought about by some difficulty we had with our old website host steamline.net, can i just take this time to encourage anyone considering taking a hosting package with these jokers to look else where. They lie, steal, are generally unhelpful and need to be avoided at all costs.

Some of you may have had a few internal server errors whilst visiting our site recently, we apologise for this and as you may of guessed this was down to streamline.net. We now have new host and better capability to provide you with an even better shopping experience.

The design changes are subtle but include a simplified home page and fewer steps in our checkout process so all in all it should be much easier to use and generally ermm… nice.

Over the coming weeks we will be adding many more of our products including many more exciting keyrings and our new tea coasters and mousemats.

Hopefully this will mark better times for our website and we hope you continue to come back and see us and our new products long into the future.

I heart badges bring in the first wave of updates

I Heart Button Badges have always been a staple product for us here at badgebeast and today see’s us add a further 133 badges to our already bustling catagory. This has come on the back of the many requests we have been recieveing through our ‘contact us’ page on our site.

But thats not all!! February will see many more new designs added for all you badge fiends who just dont seem to be able to get enough of our fun and collectable designs. Following the success of our new range of happy food badges look out for new additions to this range.

As well as this we have been recieving requests for more and more Flag Button Badges huge expansion to our flag range is immenent but of course as always if theres something you would like and you cant find it let us know by getting in touch using the ‘contact us’ button at the top of each page in the shop.

And now for something completely happy :)

Although there is some debate over where the Smiley Face came from one thing is for certain, No matter where you live or what language you speak it will represent something similar to each an every one of us. Its a happy smiley face.

The ‘Smiley’ face image is the universal image for happy, you find it in your instant messaging software, in a text message and in the 1970s it was widely accompanied the slogan ‘Have a Nice Day’, the late 80′s and early 90′s saw it have a deep connection with dance music and drugs culture and even Nirvana used an adapted smiley face on an album cover.

We love the happy little bugger and thats why we have whole sections of our website dedicated to this simple, timeless design. Amoungst our most popular items are the smiley face button badges, and smiley face keyrings and in the coming months we will be adding new lines including smiley face mouse mats, keyrings and tea coasters.

This recent order of 600 smiley face button badges was used at a huge end of year party and each badge represented 1 drink. Great idea and much more fun then just giving everybody a photocopied ‘token’.
